The universal metal dowel “UMD” is suitable for quick and easy
installation in perforated brick, pumice and aerated concrete. Simply hammer in
and the “UMD” is in place. From gas concrete class 6 and for other harder
materials such as perforated bricks, we recommend pre-drilling as
indicated in the table. The anchor has an inner thread guide
for a secure hold of the screw thread. The outer corrugation
ensures high pull-out values.
The anchor complies with the technical regulation for gas pipes in accordance with
TRGI 3.3.7.1 in conjunction with an 8 mm hanger bolt.
(If the mechanical strength of the pipe connection is not guaranteed with plastic anchors
in the event of a fire, metal anchors must be used).
